When researching my earlier comment I was surprised at the closeness of the House vote compared to the seats won in Pennsylvania. A tie vote led to a 12 to 7 loss. I assume that gerrymandered districts must be part of the explanation. How many years are likely to go by before Democrats can realistically expect to enact corrective redistricting? From what I've read I have no confidence that the current Pennsylvania Democratic Party has it together enough to accomplish it soon. Unfortunately, the local problem is also a national problem because we need senators and we need reps badly.
